Removable Dentures in Cincinnati, OH

Trauma, poor oral hygiene, disease, and smoking are a few of the factors that can play a role in causing a person to lose some or all of their teeth. If you want to improve your appearance, eat and smile with confidence, we can help you. We will be happy to meet with you to discuss how together we can improve your oral health.

Complete Dentures

We want you to have the absolute best dentures available. We use high quality materials to deliver a beautiful, natural smile with a functional bite to help you eat your favorite foods.

Immediate Dentures/Healing Dentures

Immediate dentures are delivered the same day as your dental surgery allowing you to leave the day of your surgery with functional teeth and the ability to smile. The healing dentures are a temporary set of dentures that will be used to fabricate the high-quality complete dentures after adequate healing time. The healing denture allows the advantages of trying out the initial tooth shape and color to make sure they are your best fit in the complete denture set and it also provides a backup set of dentures.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is used when someone has some teeth present. They can help to restore function of the back teeth and restore esthetics in the front of the mouth. There are many variations of frameworks and clasps that are used to hold the partial denture in place. Below are the 2 most common types of partial dentures that we provide for our patients:

Cast Metal Partial Denture

Cast metal partial dentures are the stronger option cast for a partial denture as it has a metal framework that is supported by natural teeth. We work with you to choose a tooth color to blend with your natural teeth. A wax try-in helps us visualize your new smile to confirm the shade selection and tooth setup prior to the final delivery.

Acrylic Partial Denture/Flipper

Acrylic partial dentures are less expensive than the cast metal partials but often cover more of the roof of the mouth and are not as strong as cast metal partial dentures. For these reasons we often recommend an acrylic partial denture/flipper if 1-3 teeth are missing or as a temporary appliance during a treatment plan when esthetics is an issue.
